Synopsis:
A clandestine neighbourhood in Lisbon wakes up to the news of a violent police raid, which took place the night before. Camila, a 7-year-old girl, goes to search of her brother. She’s worried. Her brother is missing. At the same time, Jysone is in a hurry: after 6 years in jail and 5 weeks free, Jysone has finally found work and knows he can’t be late. He is looking for someone who can give him a ride as he walks through the alleys of the neighbourhood, where he comes across friends and acquaintances, which delay him even more. The fate of our two protagonists will end up intersecting in the worst possible way.
Egy rejtett lisszaboni negyedben az emberek arra a hírre ébrednek, hogy az előző éjszaka erőszakos rendőri razzia történt. Camila, egy 7 éves kislány, elindul megkeresni a bátyját. Ugyanakkor Jysone siet: 6 év börtön és 5 hét szabadság után Jysone végre munkát talált, és tudja, hogy nem késhet el. A környék sikátoraiban gyalog megy munkábal, ahol barátaival és ismerőseivel találkozik, ami még jobban késlelteti. Két főszereplőnk sorsa a lehető legrosszabb módon fog összefonódni.

Synopsis:
Cássia lives with her alcoholic father and his roosters. Her routine obeys to a disciplined logic of worry and melancholy. Between driving her father’s taxi in the streets of Belo Horizonte and tending their rooster for the cockfights in the backyards of the city, Cássia is on the verge of breaking to find a life of her own without the responsibilities imposed on her which make her feel like she doesn’t know whom she is. But to move on she will have to lose the only family she’s ever had.
Cássia alkoholista apjával él együtt. Apja taxiját vezeti Belo Horizonte utcáin és apja kakasait gondozza. Cássia törésponton van, hogy megtalálja a saját életét, de ahhoz, hogy továbbléphessen, el kell hagynia a családját.
